A show based on the burning of the Upstairs Lounge, a gay bar in New Orleans, that killed 32 people and injured many more in June 1973. It was meaningful to perform this show during pride month with a theater company that focuses on creating greater awareness and acceptance of the LGBT community through the performing arts. The music is a little all over the place. Lots of fun to be had with different shakers (though not In The Heights level).
