My third time at the Bee. This was the first time I had to use electronics though. It’s ridiculously fun to play it all acoustic. So I was a little bummed. But they also weren’t paying cartage to bring all that other gear. I used my iPad as a controller to change kits on the KAT rather than dealing with making chains. I used TouchOSC to create a basic template with color-coded buttons for xylo, bells, timp, and vibes that I could easily switch to throughout the show. I matched the colors up with stick-on dots in my music—see a color dot, hit the corresponding color button.
