Sister Act

Back at WaterTower for a run of Sister Act. Playing the drum book and covering parts from the percussion book where I can. Since I’m using the KAT/Mainstage, I can cover more percussion parts than if I were all acoustic. I’m also using the DITI from Alternate Mode to do a few things. It accepts lots of different inputs, and here I’m using a Yamaha drum pad and have piezo trigger mounted in my acoustic snare that also plugs in. The output from the KAT is merged into the DITI on its own channel, the DITI MIDI out is sent to my laptop. This reduces the inputs needed on the laptop and keeps the KAT and triggers separate in Mainstage so they can control different sounds.

Also, isn’t that rug just wonderful? I wish I could have that everywhere!
